Another Harry Potter poll.

So, I'm not sure how many of y'all, Harry Potter fans or not, are aware that, in 2006, JK Rowling auctioned off an exerpt of the Black family tree (this one with DH spoilers). Personally, I find this tree fascinating, one of the reasons being that the Blacks have some incredibly beautiful and interesting names in their families. According to JKR, it was a Black family tradition for the children to be given names of either stars or constellations, though several people (especially descendants of disowned members) break this rule.

Anyway, this poll contains the first and (known) middle names of all known descendants of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. As such, it contains some major spoilers for Deathly Hallows, especially the epilogue.

Where are the DH spoilers? & Remind me how the Weasley's are related to the Blacks.
I know most purebred families are all related somewhere but I can't recall the link.

Spoilers are, I'm assuming, in the inclusion of certain names in the family (i.e. Hermione).
Arthur's mother Cedrella Black was disowned by the family due to her marriage to Septimus Weasley, while Molly's maiden name (Prewett), indicates that she is related to Ignatius Prewett, the husband of Lucretia Black, the sister of Orion Black, who would be Sirius' father.

The spoilers would be the inclusion of Remus (who had married Tonks in between the two books), Harry, Hermione (who were married to Weasleys in the epilogue), James, Albus Severus, Lily, Rose, Hugo, Victoire, and Scorpius (who are the children born between the final chapter and the epilogue).

Sirius said in Order of the Phoenix, chapter six, that Arthur is "something" like his "second cousin once removed". Thus, Arthur is the son of Septimus Weasley and Cedrella Black, Cedrella being the daughter of Arcturus Black, whose brothers, Sirius Black (II) and Cygnus Black (I), are both the great-grandfathers of Sirius and Regulus (as Sirius's parents were second cousins). So, Sirius's great-grandfathers and Arthur's maternal grandfather are all brothers.

Bellatrix is, like, the sweetest name ever. Of course, its usage in HP would probably mean that I could never use it IRL, but I still find it gorgeous. Narcissa would be awesome, too, if it weren't for the blatant Narcissus reference. :/

Why don't they make Dorea and Charlus's son say James? And why don't they link it to Harry? =\ Family trees confuse me.

Because there's no canon proof that James is Charlus and Dorea's son. Charlus could be James's uncle or cousin or something.
