Interesting Name

babynamesMost Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans will already be well aware of this interesting name I heard today, but I figured I'd share anyway. While looking up Joss Whedon (the creator the show) on wikipedia, I found out that his real name is Joseph, but he's called Joss (sounds kind of like "Moss"). I think it's interesting; he's not a "Joe" type of guy, so it definitely fits him better.
It's not a nickname I'd ever use, as (a) I'm not a huge fan of the name Joseph, and (b) if I was, I'm quite partial to the nickname Joey. But I think it's kinda cool and unique without being totally weird, and it's a nice alternative to the usual Joe/Joey nicknames.
What do you think?
