Aug. 17th, 2007 03:45 pmI came across a kid named....
Phelipe Phabian P---. and another one named Alijha. Oh, and one named Dunta (Dante). I remember as a kid trying to come up with the most creative spellings of names. Stephanie became Pstephanee (I think there was also a silent x in there somewhere). Oh to be young again! What's the most creative spellings you've come across?

Cidnee~ I suppose it's supposed to be Sydney (saw it on the back of a car)
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Date: 2007-08-17 09:44 pm (UTC)I had a friend named Kate once, and for about a year when we were twelve she spelt her name 'Cete' (with an accent over the first 'e', I don't know how to make them). She then got kr8tif with my name and turned it into Lieuci (Lucy).
Thankfully she grew out of it. :p

Date: 2007-08-18 06:05 pm (UTC)I once met a kid named Shampagne. Yes, with an S. And he was a boy.
Also saw someone named Pencilvania. I can only hope that they called her Penny. BTW, both her and I live in Pennsylvania.
Some people. There should be an approval board for naming your children.
Actually, someone I work with used to work for the state processing birth certificates. The best first/middle name combo she ever saw was Atheist Evolution. No kidding.
