A friend of the family asked me for advice on what to name her future daughter. I'm pretty much stumped.

Their last name is "Bell."

Suggestions for first and middle name combos would be MOST appreciated!

Is she of the 'traditional' camp?

She's open to pretty much any sort of suggestion. Her taste is kind of hard to define, so I figure just getting a bunch of stuff thrown together would be the best bet. Traditional would work, I'm sure. She used to be Amish, though, so, not toooo traditional.

Sierra Jane used to be my top choice for my future daughter (assuming I have one). But, Sierra on its own doesn't sound great with our last name, Russell.

Actually I think Sierra Russell sounds a lot nicer than Sierra Bell. Sierra Russell has a certain ring to it, but Sierra Bell kind of plods along repetitively. But maybe that's cos of my accent

Haha, I already suggested (jokingly) that they go with Liberty, Tinker, Jingle, or Isabella.

This is sort of random but i used to go to school with two sisters with the last name of Bell. They were Katie and Lucy. I'm pretty sure it was Katherine and Lucille though. lol

I really like Katherine Bell, and Lucy Bell is really cute, too. However, Lucille Bell rhymes a little too much, IMO. Just Lucy works, though.

Oh, and Lucille Bell is WAY too close to Lucille Ball, haha.

She liked "Angelea" before my mother told her it sounded like a disease... But aside from that, was open to suggestions and didn't mention anything she hated/loved.

She could use names that are similar to that like Angela, Angelique, Angelica, Angelina, Angeline.
If she uses a three-syllable first name, I'd go with a two-syllable middle name (or possibly four, though there are fewer options for that) for flow.

I knew a Dana Bell.

I have had several friends with the last name of Bell. One is Jennifer (Jenny) Michelle Bell. Another was named Elana. Then there was a Cindy, and a Mary Kate. (I don't know any of their middle names.) My favorite of those is Jennifer Michelle. Your friend may not like the rhyming, but I do. :o)

there's this woman that comes in to my office a lot and her name is Little Bell. No joking, first name Little, last name Bell. Tell your friend not to do that to another child.
