I knew a girl who was Jill Lynn (first and middle name), instead of Jillian. I also know a guy who is Ash Lee (first and middle name) instead of Ashlee/Ashley. Do you guys know of other combinations were the parents spilt up a normal name to make a first and middle name out of it?

I knew a Carrie Lynn, which is almost Carolyn.

Yeah, that's like Jill Lynn, it doesn't seem to flow as nicely as the full name does.

It looks better than Emma Lee, but yeah, I agree. I don't like it either. I keep wanting to say Emma Leah, even though I know Leigh is pronouced as Lee.

...oh my. Poor child. Would that be a boy or a girl? I can see Kymber/Kimber as a boy's name for some reason (even though babynames.com says it's a girl's), but all the Kimberly's I've ever known are girls.

eh, that's the same as i have feelings about names like: London, Berlin (Berlyn, etc), Camden... i'm always like, "no... cities, places, no" lol

yeah, i can see that... that's how i feel about the names Camden, Jersey, Trenton. while i know they are names of other places, obviously, those more well known places here in the US are not great. Jersey isn't bad as a whole, but Camden, eugh. what a horrible city.

& i know some people aren't set out on naming their child after a particular city (ie: Paris after Paris Hilton or something lol), but that connection will still be there. i'd rather the connection be to a place, or something, not half bad lol

I don't understand (maybe your cousin said why) but why not just call her Emily and nickname her Emma instead of making it Emma Leigh?
