Pearl is next gen so... let's go with Pearl. I mean, there are over 450 Pokemon in Pearl. Ruby can't match that. Though, I do have a shiney Sandshrew on Ruby...

Mila is my sister's nickname, so I'm partial.

My 1984 Bronco's name is Ruby. It reminds me of a truck stop waitress, not a little girl. Pearl reminds me of the tampon line, so I vote no on both of them.

Pearl just seems SO old ladyish to me. Ruby works well no matter what the age. And Mila will be mispronounced/misspelled a LOT. Besides, Mia is just...prettier.

If it's My-la, then I like it alot. If it's Mee-la, then not so much.
