I usually tend to ignore 'name my pet' posts in here, but we just found a box turtle in the road today, and I figured I'd post and see what y'all would name a turtle. After an invasive inspection of it's backside, we determined that it is a girl. Naturally my 6 year old wants to name it after his classroom pet turtle, Humphrey Bogart. Seeing as this won't really work for this turtle, I'd love a list of ideas for him to choose from.

That's from some children's book that I can't remember the name of, right?
I had to read that in 5th grade and somehow I still remember the little girl (Tabitha-Ruth) was nicknamed Turtle.

"Speedy" is so cliche I guess but every single turtle my kids ever had (4 to date) has been named speedy. lol
