Do you love any names that you can't use together? Like, because they rhyme, or are from the same root, or are too similar for another reason.

For instance, I love Juliet and Harriet but they sort of rhyme. I'm also a little bit worried about Charlotte with either of those two.
I also love Julian and Julienne, but I can't use either of them with Juliet.
Same goes for Jonah, Judah and Jeremiah- too close. I could go on for ages...Simon and Solomon. May and April. Jack and Jaqueline. Anna and Hannah. Leah and Levi. Also, I like names like Rory, Quinn, Sage and Avery for both boys and girls. I love so many names that I'll have enough to chose from if I ever do have children, but its still the tiniest bit dissapointing that I can't have a boy Rory and a girl Rory, or a Judah and a Jonah.

also my fiance loves the combo Mia Simone and I was trying to get him to change it to Amelia Simone with Mia as a nick name. Then I realized our last name starts with S
ASS = not so nice initials.

Kate is my favorite girl's name and Nate is my favorite boy's name.

CLEARLY I CANNOT HAVE THEM BOTH.

Whichever gender I produce first gets the name.

we have a Linus. my husband still wants a Lucy (Lucinda) but, um... no. I like the name, but no.

I like Greta and Ingrid, but I don't think I could use them both. my husband says they'd just end up being called "Ingreta"

I love the names Sirius and Seven, but I can't imagine having two children with both names. The biggest problem with this is I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and my boyfriend is a huge Seinfeld fan. Plus, all the girl names that I like end in the "ee" sound (Kaylea, Finley, Normandy) and I can't use more than one. Not to mention quite a few of the names that I like (such as Sirius) don't sound very good with my boyfriend's last name. So frustrating.

Hmm...That's interesting. I seem to remember reading that somewhere now that you mention it. :)

Isla and Lyla are some of my top choices for a girl. But they rhyme, so I obviously can't use them both.

Ruby & Magnolia, although I have already decided my first daughter's name, so it's more of an issue about having Ruby and Magnolia in the second daughter's name.

If Harry is usually a nickname for Henry, and Harriet is the feminine form of Harry, and Henrietta the feminine form of Henry...
Especially if instead of Harriet I decided I liked Harrietta better.

Rosalind, Rosalie, and Rose. I'm definitely using Rosalind.

Katherina and Catrine, but I think I'd still use both as middle names.

John and James, though I'd use both of them for two boys.
