Mutually exclusive names
Aug. 12th, 2007 02:35 pmDo you love any names that you can't use together? Like, because they rhyme, or are from the same root, or are too similar for another reason.
For instance, I love Juliet and Harriet but they sort of rhyme. I'm also a little bit worried about Charlotte with either of those two.
I also love Julian and Julienne, but I can't use either of them with Juliet.
Same goes for Jonah, Judah and Jeremiah- too close. I could go on for ages...Simon and Solomon. May and April. Jack and Jaqueline. Anna and Hannah. Leah and Levi. Also, I like names like Rory, Quinn, Sage and Avery for both boys and girls. I love so many names that I'll have enough to chose from if I ever do have children, but its still the tiniest bit dissapointing that I can't have a boy Rory and a girl Rory, or a Judah and a Jonah.

John and James, though I'd use both of them for two boys.
