Mollie/Molly?

Which spelling do you prefer for the name? Molly or Mollie? I've been told by a few people it changes the "image" they get from the name. I tend to agree--I sort of like Molly, but it strikes me as almost mundane; while I find myself absolutely loving Mollie. What do you think?

I do! But people will always consider Molly the classic version. I do too. I think we're on to something here. :)

The one Mollie I know is from Berkeley and has all the traits of a Berkeley girl; a heart over the I is not one of them, so your comment made me smile. I normally wouldn't think that of the -ie spelling, but I know most people would. I even (secretly) like Amie a bit more than I do Amy; it's as if I cannot help it, even though rationally I prefer the cleaner spellings myself. :-)
