Which spelling do you prefer for the name? Molly or Mollie? I've been told by a few people it changes the "image" they get from the name. I tend to agree--I sort of like Molly, but it strikes me as almost mundane; while I find myself absolutely loving Mollie. What do you think?

Just for personal preference, I like Molly, Mollie looks strange to me for some reason. But I like it either way, it's not horrible or anything, I can SO see someone one day spelling it something awful like Maywliey. In the scope of 'alternate spellings' it's pretty normal.

Haha, I know, that poor child out there somewhere. Moderating this community has made me bitter, I think :P. I'd go with it, I think you may be right on that 'alternate spelling', I think both are pretty common. I've always said people need to start putting LESS Y's in their children's names, with all these Jaydyn's and whatnot.
