Those are pretty interesting. I wish you also had Canada.

My fiance adores the name Mia and insists that it can't be as popular in Canada as it is in the States so I really wish I could find a top 100 or even top ten of Canada for 2007.

I LOVE Valentina... however I'd never use it myself.

I knew a Valentina (I work at a school) from the time she was 2 and a half til the time she was five. She was feisty and awesome, her name totally suited her.
Her sisters were Alessandra and Natalia

Every time I see the name Madison being used I remember Splash! the movie. That was really the first introduction of that name being, well, a name and not a street.

I like it though.

I think its funny that Jessica is so popular in England since it seems like such an 80s name here.

Ones I like:
Australia - Charlotte; Emily; Isabella; Sienna (but with only one "n"); Jack; Thomas; Daniel; Ryan
Chile - Catalina; Martina; Sofia (is this pronounced the same as Sophia - if so, yes.); Antonia; Francisca; Benjamin; Nicolas
England and Wales - Emily; Jack; Thomas; Oliver; Harry; Daniel; I only like Charlie when it's short for Charlotte.
Finland - Emilia; Matias
France - Sarah; Noah; Thomas
Germany - Emily
Ireland - Sarah; Jack; Adam; Daniel; Luke; Michael
United States - Emily; Isabella; Abigail; Sophia; Michael; Matthew; Daniel; Christopher; Andrew

Also, because I feel in a 'let's look at the statistics' sort of mood, a leader board of names that are popular in more than one country:
Girls
1. Sophie/Sophia/Sofie/Sofia (6)
2. Emily/Emilia (5)
3. Emma (4)
3. Olivia (4)
3. Chloe (4)
6. Ella (3)
6. Jessica (3)
6. Lea/Leah (3)
9. Maria/Marie (2)
9. Isabella (2)
9. Sarah (2)

Boys
1. Joshua (4)
1. Daniel (4)
3. Jack (3)
3. William (3)
3. Thomas (3)
3. James (3)
3. Matthew/Matias/Matis/Matteo/Matheo (3 - France really seems to like variants of this)
3. Lucas/Lukas/Luca/Luke (3)
9. Noah (2)
9. Ethan (2)
9. Samuel (2)
9. Michael (2)
9. Christopher/Cristobal (2)

I'm still not sold on Chloe. It sounds odd to me, and makes me think of a super ditzy cheerleader.

Sophia is so pretty, but I'm not a big fan of naming a girl Sophie instead. Isn't Sophie just a nickname for Sophia?

Ella, Jack, Catalina, Benjamin, Olivia, Lucy, Charlie, Lea, Manon, Theo, Sophie, Lena, Ciara, Leah, Adam, Madison (though I'd never name a kid Madison myself.)

I don't really like Constanza, Martina, Javiera, Grace, Daniel, Leevi, Rasmus, Leon, or Christopher.

see I saw that one but I was confused by Maya/Mia being number 8 as to me those are two completely different names and all the other ones just show two popular (I guess) spellings of the same name.
