[identity profile] xbrokenwhorex.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
hi, i jus joined this community.

im 25 weeks along, and know i still have some time before babie arrives, but im really stuck for names.

my fave for both girl and boy is: jordan

and i have no idea of middle names. my name is claire margaret, my mothers name is christina susan, but jordan susan jus doesnt go, and neither does jordan claire. for a boy, my dads name is kenneth leslie, jordan kenneth i can handle, but i dispise leslie. i dont have to keep it 'in the family' so any names would be great if they flow with jordan, and sound cute. my last name also starts with 'j' so i cant have to many j's in there, for example i wanted jordan jayne j....

u get my deliema?

please help, u all come up with some beautiful names in here.

I like Jordan Kenneth for a boy, and I think it would be wonderful to honor your father like that.

For a girl, if you don't like Claire, Margaret, Christina, or Susan, I would suggest taking letters of the names and combining them to make another name out of them...and you can find actual names in there, not just "made up."

For example, taking letters out of those four names, I can find:

Ariana
Marie
Maria
Ria
Ann, Anne, Ana, Anna
Laura, Maura
Teagan or Tegan
Hanna (or Hannah if you repeat the H)
Alice
Alicia

I could go on forever, but I think you'd be better at it since you know your taste in names and what sounds best with your last name following it.

I hope you like this idea and it can be helpful to you. Just write down all the letters, scramble them up if you want, and make your own name. Cutting out each letter on a little piece of paper might help too, so you can see what you have and pull down letters, since you're pulling from 4 names.

Good luck!

Jordan Christina actually goes really well, if you did was some sort of family thing going on. It's also a pretty name, most family names arent..i find anyway! I think that names ending in 'a' would flow really nicely..

Jordan Alexa
Jordan Louisa
Jordan Sofia

I just want to say that I love the name Jordan on both a boy and a girl. In my kindergarten class, two of my best friends were girl-Jordan and boy-Jordan.
