I'm due in November. We're not going to pick a name for sure until we actually see the kid. The main reason being we don't know if it's a boy or girl. But here are our top choices so far (in no particular order):

Boy:
Robert Thomas
Benjamin Thomas

Robert is my grandpa. Thomas is my husband's grandpa. Benjamin was my very first best friend and we both love the name.

Girl:
Samantha Vivian
Suzanne Amelia OR Suzanne Josephine
Alison Fern

Samantha is my husband's pick. Vivian is my grandma. Suzanne is after my mom. Amelia and Josephine are family names. Alison is my pick. Fern is my husband's grandma.

What do you like most? Any other suggestions? Thomas HAS to be the middle name if it's a boy. If it's a girl we'd like to have one of the family/grandma names in there somewhere. Last name is Levi.

I love the nn's Ben and Sam/Sammie too. I have a cousin whose name is Samantha and she calls her self Sam or Sammie

I'm changing my vote to Amelia Vivian Levi, too. Lots of v's, but since it's her middle name, it's not that big of a deal.

I'm gonna go with the popular vote for Benjamin Thomas, but add that Robert (being a family name) could always be used as a middle name for a second son.

for girls: I like all of the middle names but none of the first names :/ though if I had to pick one I'd go with Samantha (I know, not your favorite...)

I think both of us are leaning towards Benjamin. And he's pretty adamant about Samantha. Who knows though? We might end up picking something completely different once the kid is actually here!

Nope! We had the ultrasound a few weeks ago and told the tech to please not let us know the sex. She was really nice about it.

I like Benjamin Thomas better. Both are great names, but I personally dislike the name Robert, and I think the double T's makes it sound kind of choppy.

My favorite of the girls is probably Samantha Vivian. Suzanne Amelia is nice, too, and while I'm not huge on Alison Fern, it's not bad, either.

All the names are beautiful in my mind. I actually can't decide. I prefer Benjamin over Robert, but I prefer Thomas over both. For a girl, I can't get the sound of Amelia Vivian Levi out of my mind. It's beautiful I think. Out of your choices my favourite is Suzanne Amelia.

How about Vivian Suzanne? Amelia Vivian Levi is very pretty, but my tongue keeps tripping over it...all the vowel switchups. Maybe it's just me. :)
