Got names picked out! It only took us a while....lol.

If it's a boy: Jon David Stanley, jr
If it's a girl: London Elizabeth Stanley

I was watching VH1's salute to popstars & actors who name their kids weird names ie: Jett Travolta (one of John's...lol.), Dweezil and Moon Raker Zappa (no explanation needed as to who the father is....lol.)...and we came acrossed one of Slash's kids. He named one of his children London. I think is was his son. I think it suited better for girl....lol.

London is kind of a tribute to his family name. His family tree is the 2nd oldest family name in St Mildred's in London, England.
I just hope we can keep the name going because if I don't have boys, the Stanley name on his tree dies with him.

Yeah London does have a nice ring to it. Certainly fits the general trend for place name but is still pretty much unused. So excellent choice, neat meaning too.

Slash's other son is called Cash, like that name too.

Also, I read somewhere that J. Travolta and his wife (Kelly Preston?) named their son Jett after James Dean's character in "Giant", Jett Rink. *sigh* I love that, too.

London Elizabeth is gorg. Seriously. Beautiful. So unusual yet familiar. Like Ireland. Jon David is cute. I'd use the nn Jack. I still can't get over London...jeez. I really like it :)

there's a disney show called the suite life of zach and cody (my little sister watches it) about two twins whose mom is a musician, so they live in a hotel (hence: the suite life, hardy har har). anyway, a pretty little girl is the heiress of the hotel (read: young paris hilton) and her name is london.

i'd never name my baby london (i like the classic names, my daughter's name is hannah) but i do think it's very pretty, and much better suited for a girl. it sounds very pretty with elizabeth, too. sort of calms it down, pulls it away from becoming trendy.
