Margaux is French and is fairly common (and not unusual) name.

I really like Oasis Star, Sierra Elizabeth and Larissa Grace, in this order.

Lape (Addilyn) is just mean, it's like 'ape'.
D'Anna Antonia is way illiterate, like Ellyana, Korryn, Lexciel and Margaux!!
People really should need to pass a language test before they're allowed to name a baby!!

Too bad Margaux's a real name and Oasis definitely isn't...

Margot is a name (Margo in scandinavian countries).

Margaux is the French version.

Margot is already the French version, it's short for Margaret.
And -aux is how you make certain plurals of nouns and adjectives in french.
The first to use Margaux was Hemingway's sister, born Margot. It is pronounced the same, but it's still a misspelling by definition.

I'm familiar with French vocabulary rules. Sometimes names break those rules. For instance, Consuelo, despite the o ending, is a feminine Spanish name.

Regardless of how the name began, it is now an accepted French version of the name. The name Imogen arose from a typo, but you'd hardly refer to it as a misspelling, would you?

I must say I'm not familiar with the roots of the name Imogen, but I feel about Margaux the same way I feel about Makanzee. I'm pretty sure one day it will be accepted spelling for Mackenzie (see also how Casey turned into Kaycee).

I actually know quite a few people name Margaux. A lot of them have French or Dutch backgrounds.

haha i was thinking the same thing...plus the sss sound at the end of oasis blurs with the same sound at the beginning of star, making it sound kind like of "oasis tar". which is kind of unfortunate.

LOL! Actually, i was thinking Oasis Star sounds like either a band, or a bar...but porn works, too :-/

I like: Nathanael Michael, Alice Anita, Lyla Grace, Ella Grace, Adrian Alexander, Julian Dominic, Rachel Margaret, Lily Margaux, Charlotte Esther, Vanessa May.

Most of the rest of them are awful, like Oasis Star. WTF?

I don't get why everyone's complaining about Margaux, it's a completely legitimate name, and I think it's nice.

Camilla Belle...heh, like the actress.

Thoughts on Oasis Star:
-Pairing two nouns (or two adjectives, or a noun and an adjective) never really makes much sense, or, if it does, becomes a really tacky name.
-"Maybehhhhhhhhhhh
I donnnn't really wanna knowwwwwwww
How ya' garrrrrrrden growwwwwws"

Xamora sounds like a monster Godzilla would fight.

Declan Maxwell -Harold-i think this is a nice name.
Analise Elizabeth -respectable name.
Camilla Belle -this one is my favorite. i really like camilla.
Alice Anita -love alice, but not anita.
Clara-Ann Rose -this is pretty.
Ella Grace -this is a pretty name, but i'm pretty sure there must be hundreds upon hundreds of little girls named ella grace, or eleanor grace, or ellie grace, etc.
Paige Elizabeth -i like this one.
Adrian Alexander -i like adrian
Julian Dominic -and julian
Maeve Ryan (girl - sister Kiera) -maeve is sweet, ryan is too masculine.
Lily Margaux -i like this one, and i don't see anything wrong with margaux, i've always heard this was an accepted french spelling. i think the two names go well together, too.
Maribella Dawn (mother Windy - yes, with an "i") -i sort of like this one, but it's sort of princess-y feeling. mirabelle is similar, i think that would have been better.
Charlotte Esther (siblings Maddie and Ian) -love charlotte, and esther is pretty cute too.

the rest are either just okay or horrible, in my opinion.
