As some of you may know, the Pottery Barn catalog gives many of their items "people" names. For example: Jacob Rug, Cassandra Chandelier, etc.

For fun, I made a list of most of the names from the current catalog. They are grouped according to gender based on my opinion only:

For boys, I like Alex, Benson, Caleb, Elliot (but with one t), Jacob, Logan, Lucas, Porter, Shane-without-the-y, Tucker, and Weston.

For girls, I like Adrienne, Cassandra, Eleanor, Julia, Margaret, and Samantha.

The only unisex name I like is Emerson, but I guess I just always think of it as a boy's name. I don't like surnames on girls, but I like them a lot on boys.

I hate the spelling of Shane, though. Ugh! The extra y's in names is one of my biggest pet peeves. And Camarron is a horrendous spelling, too.

Oh, and I like Stratton. It was my grandmother's maiden name, so I've always considered using it as a middle name for a boy. I really like the sound of it, too :)

I really like Emmett. Tucker reminds me of that douche in Something About Mary. I like Megan, Samantha, Shelby (but I can't use it because it sounds weird with our Be- last name), Tava, and Whitney.

And I don't like Camarron because in my mind I just say camarĂ³n. As in shrimp. LOL.

Ahhh, so now we know who to blame for marketing uppity, pretentious names to parents trying to crash the 'elite class' party just for the sake of being trendy!

Always have loved Julia and Quinn, though.

One raised eyebrow goes to "Camarron" (Cameron, much?)

There are some strange ones in here. Abianne? Don't like that at all.

I like Brooks, Caleb, Jacob, Logan, Weston, Bella, Cadence, Hanna (I love that spelling), Isabella, McKenna, Addison (Girl), Darby (Girl), Emerson (Girl), Quinn (Girl), Petyon (Girl).

Not sure who thought that Camarron was a good spelling...

Terra?.... no. Doesnt it mean "land". Plus, when I read Terra I first thought Nullius and then Cotta. Not good
