I had never thought of Joshua as a girl's name until I had a client with a sister named Joshua - it just stuck with me:) I have a male cousin named Joshua, so I probably wouldn't use it, but for some reason I really do like it for a girl.

When I was in high school I really wanted to change my name to James. I can't explain why! My best friend was going to be Jasen. We were teenagers, what can I say. I had to put it on the list, though.

I have another cousin named Thomas...its not my usual cup of tea. BUT, I was driving through a civil war military park and there was a statue of a man named Thomas Ransom and I decided I really liked the names together.

What an exciting, eclectic list! I've noticed a few there that I love. I'm also pretty chuffed to see my name (Ainsley) and my brother's name (Tristan) in the list.. pretty rare for people to even know how to spell my name!

A couple of the names I was unsure of. I think that if you were going to name your child, you'd have to think carefully about what the name could turn into. Eg. Psyche - Psycho, and so forth.
