Deven (Devon) and Ethan are overly used for my personal taste, though I think they're fine names. I don't like Miranda. I do like Lyla though. Not sure about Archer, but it is quite different without being overly strange. It's got charm.
Is that pronounced Mal-eh-ki? If it is I'd go with a different spelling, just to avoid the inevitable mispronouncing...but that's just me. I like the pairing though.

Date: 2007-07-22 12:33 am (UTC)When I was little I wanted to call my daughter Miranda so I could call her Mindy (Thank goodness I grew out of it!).
Lyla is pretty spelt like that but I wouldn't use it.

Lyla makes me think of the kids' book Lyle Lyle Crocodile.
Miranda and Ethan are lovely.
