Interesting
Jul. 20th, 2007 08:56 pmOver the past two days I heard a few names I never heard before:
Girls:
Rehan
Reich
Boys:
Caimin
Jillis
Rehan is pronounced Ray-ahn and she was a cute little girl (which is probably part of why I thought it was a pretty ok name ;) )and she looked Arabic, so I looked up the origin of the name and it's Arabic indeed, it means 'scented'. I kinda like the sound of Jillis as well, but I don't really like any of the names.
Reich is German for 'rich' and I'd never seen it as a name.
As for the boy's names, I have no idea what they mean.
Any thoughts on the names?
(Edit: I forgot to add the meaning of Reich 8))

Date: 2007-07-20 07:33 pm (UTC)Reich kind of freaks me out.
Reich is actually German for "empire" as in the Third Reich (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_reich).
