Okay, so my hubby hated all of the names I had just come up with and so did a lot of you. So here's what I am thinking...

Michael Hobson

I know Hobson is kind of weird, but it is my Grandpa's middle name. He is about to pass away from cancer and I would like to use his name. His first name is Fernie, so I thought Hobson was the better ot the two. Also Michael is pretty much required of us from my husband's side of the family. All of the men in his family have the name Micheal as their first or middle name since like the 1700's. Plus it's my brother's name so...

For a girl I like Lucy after my Grandma. But what would be a pretty middle name that would go good with that and Rollins (Rawlins).

I'm sure my hubby will shoot these names down too.

Michael is a fine name as long as common/popular doesn't bother you. I like the mn. It's a great family name to use, and food great reasons.

I love the name Lucy (it's actually my cat's name!) and I think there are a ton of mns that would sound great with it. Maybe let your husband have the pick there?

I asked him if he could pick any name he wanted for a girl what would he pick. He said Jessica Ann. Blah- how boring. Jessica is a nice name and all, but not my style at all. I have no clue what we are going to do. We CANNOT agree on a name. Boys names we are okay with. I guess if we have a boy we will go back to the previously decided Logan Michael. I'm not crazy about it, but I can live it. I just don't know about for a girl. Other girl names he likes is Katie, Kateland, Rachel, Madison and Mackenzie.

I like Katie. Or Kate.... not Kateland though. I agree, Jessica Ann is about as beige as they come. :P

Logan is a lovely name for either a boy or a girl.

I thought about using Logan for a girl's name, but our daughter's name is Rylee. Since Rylee (usually spelled Riley) is traditionally a boys name, If the next on is a girl I don't want to give her a boy/girl name. Besides it has sort of been a hassel naming our daughter Rylee. If she is not there for people to see that she is a girl, they always assume she is a boy. We had a horrible time getting them to get it right on our insurance and stuff.

Maybe you should pair with your husband? Let him pick a middle name and you a first? Maybe visa-versa? My boyfriend was super picky about all my picks so I let him pick the first and I picked his middle name.

anything that is very common. His favorite name is Jessica Anne. He also likes Mackenzie, Madison, Amanda, Heather, and Katie. I don't think there is anything wrong with any of those names, but I like names a little less run of the mill. The only name that we both kind of like is Rachel. It SO common, but it's biblical so that's helps. I'm just not ready to give in to such a common name just yet.

We are thinking maybe Rachel Quinn. I'm not to sure, but O'Quinn is his Grandmother's maiden name, so I like that about it. I really love family names or names with meanings.
