Because it's summer and it's not fair that I have to do math homework over the summer, I'm going to procrastinate by listing off some of my friends names. As all of them already have their names and are over 18, it doesn't really matter what people think of them, but hey, this community is about names!


Danielle Tabeth (nn Tabby through elementry school, now Dani or Nelli) Her parents originally wanted to name her Tabeth Katrina so they could call her Tabby Cat, but that got vetoed by a grandparent

I really like Bethany Rose, Margaret Claire, Jocelyn, and Hannah Maree (although I'm not a fan of the spelling of Marie).

Ursula and Sebastien? What the hell were their parents thinking??

It's a family spelling of Marie. Somewhere along the line there was this aunt who had a dress shop and her name was Maree or something... I actually really like it because it makes me different from the billion other people with Marie as a middle name

My middle name is Maree too.. but my mum chose that spelling because my grandmother kept insisting that Marie is pronounced MAR-ee, and my mum wanted it pronounced ma-REE. I've never had a problem with the different spelling either :)
