Okay, I've bene on the hunt for Hindu girls names that mean "affection" or smiliar synonyms. I've really only found Mamata, which I'm not sure I like. Can someone help me out by listing more Hindu girls names with similar meanings?

http://www.babynamesworld.com/search.php?tab=4&f_girl=1&f_containtype=contain&f_start=&f_lengthtype=&f_chars=&f_meaning=&f_land=Hindu&f_starstype=0&f_stars=1&f_submit=1&f_searchtype=advanced&qsearch=1&browseby=1&x=14&y=5

or if that doesn't work, go to http://www.babynamesworld.com/ / advanced search and pick just girls names and 'hindu' on the origins dropdown.

Some I found that are closely related to affection (I bolded ones I liked):
Lalasa -love
Mamta -mother's love for child
Preeti -love
Preyasi -beloved
Pritika -beloved
Priya -loved one, darling
Sajni -beloved
Sevita -beloved
Maitryi -friendship
Saheli -friend

I had two friends in elementary school who were sisters - they were Hindu, and their names were Uma and Sima. I always thought that "Sima" especially was a nice name.
