How does everyone feel about the name Sharon? Is it too old fashioned? What's a good middle name to go with it?

It's not a horrible name.. just not a name I could forsee myself calling my little baby/small child.. like "ooh baby Sharon aww".. I dunno. Plus, whenever I hear the name Sharon I immediately here Ozzy Osbourne's voice "Shaaaarrronn!" in my head. LoL I do like similar names like Cherie (can be pronunced Share-ey or Shur-ey).

For middle names for Sharon I would chose something really girly and modern to kind of offset the traditionalness of the first name, like Sharon Alexandria, Sharon Alexis, Sharon Mackenzie etc.

Another pretty 'Sharon sounding name' is Charisse. It was my 'french name' in my french classes back in high school =)

I think it's pretty and it won't make her blend into the 8 million Mackenzies and Ashleighs she'll have in her classes. And you can always call her Shari (shari poo!) when she's a baby so it still has cutesy potential.

Heh heh, I always add poo to add the cuteness factor. Try cooing "Maxy poo!" sometime. It's fun, I promise. ;)

Typically we call him "Max-a-moo", "Moo", "Moober" etc.. but I'm sure somewhere along the line he's been called "Maxy-poo" ;P

My name is Amanda Lynne...I HATE it. I seriously wanted to change it when I was 16 but now I just hope not too many people notice. lol

My best friend's name is/was Sharon Christina. But everyone has called her Chrissie her whole life. She just recently had it legally changed. If you name her Sharon peole would most likely end up calling her Sherri. Are you okay with that?

I LOVE it. It's not old-fashioned, it's classy.

I like Sharon Amelia (it just popped into my head) or Sharon Rose. I think anything goes with Sharon, actually.

Sharon reminds me of the late 70's, because my mom always knew SOMEONE named Sharon when she was young. lol

Sharon Julianna

Sharon Amelia
Sharon Lucille
Sharon Elizabeth
Sharon Emmalee
Sharon Kate
