Stellinor. y/y?

It combines the quiet dignity of Eleanor (Roosevelt) with the sort of outwardness of Stanley yelling "Stella, Stella! Stella for Star!" (Stellinor for Stellar, though) even while hinting at Poe's rare and radiant maiden. A name for the modern woman who is not afraid to shout "Here I am world! Hit me with your best shot!" except without Pat Benatar's ugly 80's haircut.

I'm pretty sure any dignity than can be found in the name Eleanor is lost when you combine them together.

I...
I can see a lot of teasing in the child's future. Especially since I just keep thinking "SMELLINOR!" or something to that effect.

Stellinor makes me think of a furnishing brand. Or maybe the lotion to polish it with.

I saw that name and immediately thought "Skeletor". The kid is gonna get teased.

It sounds robotic to me, like a name in a Sci-Fi movie or something.
Don't like it.

Only with a brother named Lunamick. The splendor of Apollo's moon combines with an archangelic name — previously bestowed on a big-lipped rock star and a gloved mouse — to create the only perfect name for today's masculine baby.

I'm laughing at this thread...almost hard enough to find the "I love this thread" macro, but you know how it is

I prefer Stellinore. Just like I prefer Lynne and Anne to Lynn and Ann.
