Date: 2007-07-09 01:06 pm (UTC)I have often told this story on here, but this reminds me of it again. Our electorate area is called Ryan, and our local member of parliament recently called his firstborn son Ryan. At least that is an actual name, but it is sooooo obvious and stupid.

At any rate, I thin it's awful to use a child as a political statement. I even cringe when I see small children wearing shirts with a political message, even if I agree with the message on the shirt. LOL
