i realize i have known quite a few Kristins in my life... almost all have been different spellings, too:

Kristen
Kristin
Krysten
Krystin
Kristian
Christin
Christan

it's one of those names that, despite knowing a lot of them, i may still use. i don't know why.

I have a friend whose middle name is Christen. That's only 8 different spellings. Geez.

it was always so confusing in school because my two friends were Kristin & Kristen. i'd always forget who spelled it which way lol.

i had two friends Rachel & Rachael, too. i always remembered because Rachael's last name had an A in it, while Rachel's didn't haha

I know of someone whose name is Khristen.

I this Kristen and its variations (most of them) are nice..but I know WAYY to many to ever consiter it for my child. I would have to say in my life I have known at least 10 of them..and I'm only in my early 20's

I'm a Kristen, and for awhile it was hard because I was always one of two (or more) in my class. However, I think the name has diminished enough in popularity where the kid won't be one of a bunch in a class anymore. In the 80s (when I was born) it was listed around #20 (including all the various spellings), nowadays it's down around 100.
