Could you please tell me how much you like the name 'Jalita' (ya-LEE-ta) based on a scale from one to ten where one is not at all and ten is absolutely love it?

Hm... It does sound slightly better with 'ha' in the American pronounciation, actually.

It sounds better than I thought it was going to sound - I would initially have pronounced it ja-LEE-ta - but still, I only gave it three.

Well, many probably do, but since I'm Norwegian, I pronounce it with a Norwegian 'j' which is 'y' in this instance. With the English 'j' it'd be absolutely dreadful. Still, I don't particualy like how my name sounds in English.

I also hated it when I read it as JAL-ee-ta, but I think I quite like it as ya-LEE-ta...
