More Gaelic names

There seems to be a bunch of Irish/Gaelic names floating around this place...so I thought I would post my favorites.
btw: I am Irish so I am particial to the names...but not the spellings since I live in New York. So..a lot of these are technically Gaelic but have more American spellings.

Boys:
Braden ( Trendy...but I do like it and i"m not having kids for quite a few years. So I'd only consiter it if it was less trendy when I had a son)
Liam
Rian (pn: like Ryan)
Seamus
Sean
Tadhg or Tighe (different spellings...same name)
Eamon
Rory

Girls:
Alana
Kira
Siobhan
Keeva
Claire
Fiona
Niela
Noelle

I know a fella named Eamonn. It was seriously the worst week of my life when I first met because I couldn't remember the pronunciation of his name and he was a little irritated by being called "new guy". And then customers could never pronounce his name and would call him "that guy with the weird name".

My dads name is Eamon :)
And i really like Rory, i don't like it when people use it on a girl though.

Love Alana and Kira from your girl names!

I really like the majority of your names, but Tighe seems really out there to me. Like, to the point where it totally looks made-up. And I also have no idea how to pronounce it. I also HATE the name Siobhan. It doesn't look like it's pronounced AT ALL and I just think it's an ugly name - both the way it looks AND the way it sounds.

I love Seamus, Sean, and Liam for boys, though, and Kira, Claire, and Noelle are gorgeous names.

i actually do like tadhg, but yeah there's no way anyone could guess that spelling. he would have to go by Tag, or something along those lines, which is cute til they all play tag at recess.

I love Liam, Rian, Seamus ,Eamon, Siobhan, Keeva and Niela.
I prefer Kira spelt Ciara. That may have something to do with the fact that my name is Kirra and I wish it was spelt the Irish way. Ciara O'Malley just looks so good written down.

Ugh. That would be why I'd never change my name.
