I like either spelling really, but I think if in a predominantly English-speaking country (like I am) you would probably drop the "c," because everybody else would for you anyway.
i think its tricky enough to spell that people would spell it right - they'd feel ok about asking how to spell it, and after that they should surely be alright
I've never heard of it. I have a friend named Danushka (basically just add the D) and goes by Dana. Maybe Anushka would be easier for people to read/pronounce?
