baby name books

i was just wondering if anyone could reccomend a good baby name book, i'd love to have one that has how to pronounce the names. i come across names frequently that i love the look of but am not always sure of how they would sound.

I have 'the new age baby name book' and 'cool names for babies'
Good for ideas but not really pronounciation, for that I use behindthename.com or babynames.com

thanks for the ideas i do use online sources regularly for pronouciation i'd just rather have a book as i don't have online access at home right now(comp's broken) so i can look things up right away if i want :)

Just check out your local library. Also, you can read the books in the bookstore without buying them if you're really curious. I wouldn't spend money on it!

i've already borrowed all the baby name books from both my local libraries and as for the bookstore i've looked in there too they don't have much but are willing to order any book (that's still in print) as long as i have at least the title for it

For whatever reason, I haven't seen many name books with pronunciatios in them. Maybe the authors themselves have too many doubts, or there are just too many variations in pronunciations to list them all. I'd just start with a good book like A Dictionary of First Names (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0192116517/qid=1124307205/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i2_xgl14/102-4752399-4872919?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) by Hanks and Hodges and then if you are unsure about any of them, ask online at one of the many naming sites.
