Meryl? On a boy? Really?

I think when most people hear that name, the first thing that comes to mind is Meryl Streep, so you might want to rethink using that one on a kid to avoid gender confusion when people hear the name.

Drusilla- wasn't this one of Cinderella's evil step sisters?
Darla- reminds me of the girl from the Little Rascals movie, she was so cute!
Dawn- my bff/cousin's evil bitch mother is named Dawn... she's without a doubt the most awful, coldhearted person i've ever met. hence, i could never use this name.
Deidre- one of my bffs in school is named this. Deidre Marie... how would you pronounce it??
Deja- i like this, most times i see it spelled: Daysia or Daisa... but i like Deja better.

Derrick- love this.
Douglass- love this, too.
Dusty- like Dustin better.

Malcolm- like it, wouldn't use it, though.
Marcellus- i actually really like this.
Meryl- my boyfriend is named Merle (p. M-erle, rather than Mer-il)
Mickey- my stepmother works for Disney, i just couldn't do this lol

I know Darla and Drusilla both from BUffy the Vampire Slayer and I found them on a baby names list today and thought that every time I saw a kid with those names I'd think of vampires.

Dawn is my middle name.

I almost added Delilah to the list but I thought it was a bit common now because I know of two songs by that name and I don't really like it that much.

Dawn is my cousin's middle name LOL. she often says her name is Danielle Satan- that shows you how fondly we all think of her mother LOL

my friend was Deidre pronounced Dee-dra, her mom saw it on a soap opera right before she was born & it stuck haha. her brother is Drew, so they wanted another D name.
