Date: 2007-06-28 05:16 pm (UTC)I know a girl named Ryan. She hates having to explain to everyone. So maybe in this baby's case, it's just as well.

Date: 2007-06-28 06:25 pm (UTC)I actually like Ryah. Ryan I do prefer as a boy's name, but I think it could work as a girl's name.
And I absoultely hate adding an -ette or etta or some other ending onto the name to make it more girly. Sounds way too fake for me.

Date: 2007-06-28 06:43 pm (UTC)It means "little king", so it has nothing to do with girls.
I like Ria (Ree-ah) for a girl, it could be the feminine form of Rio (river) but it also means "wind" in arabic. I like very much both meanings for a name.

Date: 2007-06-28 07:39 pm (UTC)Ryah sounds nice....but too me look like a typo of Ryan. I'd like it without the H.
