Normally I like a name one day, but the next day it's already off my list. I have many tastes in names. One day it's nature-y the next day it's classic and then day after THAT, it's trendy. But these two names have stuck for a while now. I plan on having two kids, and hopefully a girl and a boy (but I wouldn't mind g/g or b/b either).

Emmeline Winter 'Em'
Harry Brighton

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan so I just have to use Harry. I just have to ;)
I like surname-y names, so Brighton. I find Emmeline really feminine and pretty, but not overused. Em is a really cute nickname. And Winter satisfies my nature-y side. So, wdyt? Do Em & Harry sound good as siblings? TIA ^_^

I like Em for short. I don't think I'd go my Emmeline. And it'd be wierd saying that to a little kid.

Emmeline sounds pretty nice, but I'm not fond of Harry at all. But if Harry Potter names are your thing, I think Draco or Malfoy would be cool.

I think they are both really nice.

I really like Emmeline Winter a lot. The only thing that would concern me is the MASSIVE number of Emily and Emmas out there -- there's no shortage of girls named Em. But the full name itself is really nice.

Brighton strikes me as more of a place name than a surname. Either way, you'll probably get a lot of questions about why you chose that.

I think they're both cool and they sound okay as brother and sister.

Harry is a nickname for Henry, Harrison, or Harold. I would use those, because it doesn't seem quite fair to give a kid a nickname for a name. My real name is Catherine, and if my mom had just named me "Cathy" I would have felt gipped.

I agree, and I really like Harrison, but it wouldn't sound good with
'Brighton'

Ooh great names, I like those :)
Yeah they make a good sibset too.

Emmeline is lovely, such a classic. Em is sweet, do like Emmie too.
Have a real thing for nature names too, and Winter is unusual.

I really like the name Harry too, can't use it though as friends of the family got their first, with their dog. He's adorable though. :)
So it's now on my list of names for characters.

Brighton is cool, definetly think of the place though.

Both of those are so cute and they fit really well together.

I LOVE Harry Potter too so I understand. :)

*grins widely* Emmeline came from the movie, Blue Lagoon which Brooke Shields was in. I've always loved that name. I was thinking though as another adorable alternative to that would be Emmaleah or spelled Emma Leah, it's still just as cute and just as different. and harry is a cute name. although i don't really like brighton being used as a middle name, because i've only heard it as a first name or a last name, but go with it.
