I think cats respond very well to two syllable names/nicknames. That's all we've every had in our family. I also have cat babies! :)
All of our cats had two syllable names-
Menu (my mom's, French for cat) passed away in '99 .
Smokey passed away in '04, she was mine for 18 years. :(
Cody passed away in '96 (my brother's, named after the boy in Rescuers Down Under).
Casey (still lives with my brother).
Alley, my first baby after Smokey passed, she's 1 now.
Ivy, my second girly girl, she's 2.

Anastacia Simone (nn Stacy or Stacia)=i like anastacia, always have, but i'm not a big fan of simone as a middle name.
Bethany Lynette (nn Betty)= that's really pretty. i've never heard bethany paired with lynette before and i'm surprised at how good they sound together.
Deanna Elisabeth= wow, that's super pretty. and i'm glad that you spelled elisabeth with an s!
Judith Leanne (called Leanne)= i like it. i think that it's different in a good way

Sylvia Diane=nope. i like the names separately, but not together.

Clayton Maxwell=lol. the town right next to where i live is called clayton. i love maxwell though.
Elliot James=aw how prepster cute. although, elliot is a wildly sexy name
Jonathan Lawrence=this reminds me of joey lawrence. bad tv memories. bad.

Tabitha=it's nickname is tabby, so get a tabby cat!
Beatrice=i like this one too. my friend had a cat named bea.

I am crazy about the name Avery, but my husband is a butt and doesn't like it. personally I think that since I have to carry it, then I should get to name it, but unfortunately he think otherwise. lol. Oh well. I like Roxanne for a cat, you can call her Roxi for short.

Roxanne: Yes! That reminds me. My sister used to have a cat named Roxanne, shortened to Roxy, but they found it was a boy, so they named it Rocky. Maybe if you can't find a girl, you could name it that.
