My husband and I are going to try for a baby next week. :)
We have already discussed names. I am a name freak and have names for EVERYTHING. Anyway, what do you think of my two names for a boy and a girl.
Rivers Qi (pronounced KEY)
or
Landon Milo
My husband does not like Landon, but if I have to carry the baby and it ends up being a boy, I am not giving in with Landon, lol, especially since he has thrown out every other boy name, gr.
Opinions are welcome. :)

Date: 2005-08-07 03:06 pm (UTC)Rivers Qi... I don't know. It's pretty unusual so it's hard to say. There's a popular restaurant where I live called Rivers, so it really just sounds like that to me. Just River seems masculine mainly due to River Phoenix. There's no reason a nature name can't be unisex though. I personally prefer the name Rio (Spanish for river) to the English River. I used to know a beautiful little girl by the name. And then there's the Duran Duran song. But I think it sounds nice on a boy too.
Qi is a stumper in both pronunciation and origin for me. I'm sure it has some meaning to you though, so whatever.

I love the name River, though for some reason am not so keen on Rivers.
Qi is cute as a mn.
Landon Milo is a cute combo, sort of 'cowboy' in a good way.
