a comment about twins was just made and i thought i'd ask... if you had twins, any combo, what names would you use?

for years now, i've thought that Evelyn and Sylvia complemented each other well. i'll go as far as using middles... these are just going to be random... Evelyn Lucille and Sylvia Charlotte

For boys... I think I like Louis Daniel and Patrick Charles...

Boy/girl... Thomas Joel and Audrey Jane...

The only ones I've ever put any thought into has been Sylvia and Evelyn... The rest I just thought of now. Although I did think about a Louis and Eloise paring, as both are top favorites of mine... But that's too... Gross. Heh.

And I'm not much of a nickname person AT ALL... but i adore the nicknames for Louis and Patrick. Lou, Louie.. Pat. Iunno. I just like them for some reason. They fit little kids and adults. Whatever.

Twin combo names, please! :D

My picks for twin girls names both start with A.
That's purely coincidental though. They're just my top two favorite girl names.
I do agree that having names that sound alike or rhyme is just too much.

These are, of course, without asking my boyfriend. He doesn't like the same names I like so there are many fights in our future. Anyway...

Twin girls: Audrey and Amelia
Twin boys: Sebastian and Joseph
Twin boy and girl: Amelia and Joseph (They are both names honoring ancestors.)

Expecting twins in January I have given this a litte thought, lol. I'd be interested seeing some peoples opinion on it.

I have Grace & Gabriel and Natalie & Nicholas for boy/girl. I havent come up with any girl/girl boy/boy names yet though.

Why not Grace and Natalie and Gabriel and Nicholas if they're both the same gender?

I wouldn't name twins differently than I'd name any other two siblings. I think twins have enough issues with idenity -- forcing them into a matchy matchy oh-so-cute set for all time... It's just a bit much for me. So whatever my two favorite names were at the time, there you go. Today we'd have some combination of Seneca, Daphne, or Tabitha for girls and Cedric and Tavish for boys.

Ummm...
Arson Roy and Atticus Richard for boys.
Dylan Joyce and Justice Hayward for girls.
And Arson Roy and Justice Joyce if they're a boy and a girl.

I like Evelyn & Sylvia! For G/G twins I like Rowan & Acacia, and for B/B twins, Peregrine & Julian. Both have themes. Can anyone figure 'em out? :)

Probably whatever names I have stashed away. Right now my favorite names are Amelia and Calvin... if we had two girls it would probably be Amelia and Julia, and if it were two boys it would be Calvin and Eric or Owen. But I wouldn't approach it any differently than naming 2 sibs... I wouldn't want to think of it as an opportunity to be cutesy.

Samuel and Sawyer

Jesslynn and Jackson

Alexander and Allison

Benjamin and Brayden

Taylor and Teagan

Elizabeth and Ella

Emily and Eli...etc :)

My brother and his wife are expecting twins this November. We still don't know what the names will be but I suggested Devon and Eugene.

A friend had a cute idea: she said if she ever had boy-girl twins she'd name them palindromes Nadia and Aidan.

I like the first letter matching, but i dislike rhyming. I have friends Amy and April, and I have friends Matthew and Patrick (Matt and Pat) and the 2nd drives me CRAZYYYYY. Yes they could go by their full names, but their parents have called them that since birth so it's a hard habit to get out of. But I like the way Amy and April go. But then again if I were to have a second child and it was a girl I'd be naming her Kelsey or Kyra or Kendra to go with my Kristen already...

in summary: same first letter ok, rhyming noooo.
