Ugh. There's a girl in another pregnancy community I'm in who named her first daughter Bradley. These are boys names! They shouldn't be used as unisex just because the parents want to be "unique".
Sometimes I see announcements like this and think, "Gosh, they must have really hoping for a boy. They didn't even bother thinking of a girl's name." :(
I know, sometimes you really have to think before naming a baby. Owen is rather suitable girl-wise. I have a friend thats having twins and if one is a girl she wants to name her Harley (spelling Harleigh *ack*) which I think is way too butch. I honestly can't imagine a blonde wearing all pink named Harleigh...I think heavy-set biker chick in a white beater. If they're both twins she's naming them Harleigh and Carleigh which is a mistake in my opinion, I think its wrong to give twins similar sounding names like that, they'll always feel stuck with eachother in a sense. I think its cute to give them both the same letter, like Bridgette and Bella, but her choice is out there. If she has two boys she's going with Dakota and Malachi. I've never been a fan of Malachi thanks to Stephen King.
Sorry, this was way longer than I was going for. lol
