A friend of mine is pregnant with her first baby. Her and her husband have been trying for a really long time and we are all really excited that she is having a baby.
She loves the name Piper but is afraid that with her last name beginning with a P that the baby will be made fun of bc of her intials. Its kinda a silly reason to veto a name but it makes sense.
Her other name that she likes is Macie or Macey.
Im asking for thoughts and Ideas.... also spelling preferences and middle names
Family names are:
Lucille
Anne
Patricia
But if you use one name someone might get upset about it....
other options for middle names are
Joy
Faith
Grace
Hope
ThANKS in ADVANCE!

I plan on naming my first girl Faith Anne, and it might be a good combo for her, maybe!?!

Macey isn't a favorite of mine either, but more just a personal dislike of the sound. It's ok I guess. Just not for me. I like Macey Lucille best.

CRS. Mine spell Can't Remember Shit. so, naming her Piper isn't that bad, it could be worse off.
Macey reminds me of the store. I knew a girl by that name, and she bought clothes from Macy's. I always found it confusing. I think Piper is extremely beautiful, and I don't think that kids, honestly, will tease her because of it.

If you search the SSA most popular baby names, you can search as far back as 1880, and the name Mazie appears on the list for that year (and probably many more years to come before fading from popularity).
Here's the chart of Mazie's popularity:

There's a singer named Mazzy Star. But I haven't heard of many people named Mazie (a couple come up on a google search but they aren't well known)
