Jamie Oliver's daughters are Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo. No Dixie, no Dot.

Lol I thought it would be weird if he had two daughters called Dixie since what I'd heard of his kids' names sounded ok.
Poppy and Daisy are much better but their middle names sound more appropriate for pets IMHO.

Other than "Hazel", which I love, and some elements of the names in the list (Jack, Belle, Nell), I think these are all terrible names to saddle a child with.

I like Apple actually. And London

I knew a little girl named London. I didn't like it much, but it was cute when one of her friends was over with her and kept shouting, "Hey, London, come look at this! London! London!" I thought there was something interesting about how her friend, who was three or four, like London herself, didn't even think to question the name, because it was likely she wasn't even aware that a place called London existed yet.

Saffron LeBon? Hooh, boy...

Truely is amazing what people will name their kids. Makes you think if they really love their children at all.. *ponders*

I think Robert Rodriguez really wanted to be the father of comic book characters, not real people.

Seconded.

Granted, it sounds REALLY cool. Until you realize this is real life and they have last names.

i keep imagining being a nanny/babysitter and being called up by his wife..

'hi, i was looking to hire a sitter for this saturday... my children are rebel, racer, rocket, and... [click, phone disconnects] uuhh... helloo???"

These names are almost entirely ridiculous and I would be ashamed to tell someone my name if my dad/mom had given me these names. I mean really :-P

Her name would be Rosetta Stone.

It would be funniest if she became a translator or something.

1) OMG OMG OMG BRAVE LITTEL TOASTER!!

2) Here is what Wikipedia has to say about the Rosetta Stone. It helped dechipher some cool language stuff. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosetta_Stone)

I like most of them!

...for my pets.

And thanks to this list, I figured out what the name the 2.5 week old kitten we have that is always trying to escape. Escape, Explorer, all those were boring. Freedom, however, sounds awesome! That leaves two of the four without names. Must get to work. Ginger was named by her future owners, now I must name the cowprinted one (gray and white cow), and the other white one...

Its Tu Simone Morrow. I think they call her Simone. Mom's name is Debon Ayer (sp) and I think they wanted to follow the trend.

I'm thinking the list just gets worse and worse as it progresses.

Some of the top ones are actually pretty cool, in theory. Like Rodriguez' R kids. Until you stop to wonder about the repurcussions poor Rocket is going to have to deal with in Elementary.

I'm not even going to say ANYTHING about Fifi, Peaches, Honey, Pixie, Poppy, or the Dixie chicks.

Besides London, they're all pretty horrible.

I do like Moxie Crimefighter, though. Not for a real person name, but maybe a nickname or a story character. It's cute in a weird way.

Puma?
Isn't that a character from the Lion King?
Hopper Jack, though I wouldn't ever use it, is actually okay.

Puma is actually a large cat... also called a mountain lion, or cougar. Weird how brains work like that, isn't it?

Hopper makes me think of a paintball hopper.

Oh my god you have to be kidding...those poor children. Common...Fifi, Peaches and Trixie?...Reign Beau? Jesus.

All of Bob Geldoff's kids are going to be wonderful strippers!

I would never ever think of naming my kid Pirate, Tu Morrow, Pilot Inspektor of CrimeFighter. I'm surprised that the last two were accepted...

The one that I like most (well, not 'like', but is acceptable) is Saffron Sahara. London isn't that bad either, but still..

Although people disagreed with me on it I still am very lukewarm about the name Apple. On one side it sounds more of a name that's cute when they're little but once you're in your 40s I wonder how well you would like such a name you know?

Most of these other names are a huge wtf to me. Moon Unit? Srsly? Mingus is just ugly to me as well. Pilot Inspektor is hilarious. I guess they can give reasons why they named them such but ugh.

Paula Yates also had another daughter, who Bob Geldof raised after her death - Heavenly Herani Tiger Lily

I can honestly say I would never give any of these names to my kids...except Eja (if its pronounced like Asia) is a name I consiter...but for a girl.

Dweezil and Moon Unit? Seriously. I can see them getting picked on alreay.

Sonnet is sort of cute ; )

Saffron Sahara is a little too much, but it's pretty.

I can kind of stand Hopper. Maybe.

Dweezil and Moon Unit are adults now. Moon is a very odd person but her brother Dweezil is kinda cool...he used to have a TV show about food.

I hate almost every single name on the list. True Isabella Summer is cool. I can handle London. Brooklyn I can deal with. Sonnet is interesting. The rest are just...ugh!!! Horrendous!

I don't see what's weird about Poppy or Daisy. They're both pretty standard names in the UK. Ok, Poppy Honey is a little too cutesy and Daisy Boo is a bt silly, but the first names are normal.

Nell is ok but it should be short for Helen (and the middle name is stupid).

Some of them I actually like in a "Way over the top, hippyish, would never use them ever" kind of a way. For example: True Isabella Summer, Phoenix, Ocean, Tallulah, Saffron.

Some are just ridiculous though.

Oh, and Peaches Geldof is annoying. That is all :)
