andreas on a male is... interesting but a VERY effeminate name.

maybe go with 'andres' (ahn-dress) instead of 'andreas' (ahn-dray-ahs).

perhaps it's coming from a predominately hispanic family, but ending it with "eas" makes it the feminine version.

I used to babysit for a lady named Jalleh (spoke Persian, and spelled it with two Ls, but of course it's not the Roman alphabet so spelling in the US is malleable).

The babysitting experiences have forevermore ruined the name for me. RUINED, I say!
