What does everyone feel about the name Dash for a man? I heard it on some cheesy Sci- Fi movie and hated the character but did like the name.

Also my neice was just born a short while ago and my brother named her Charlotte Ann- I really like it! I liked it better than Sonny- whom his fiance was going to name if it were a boy. No offense to anyone who may but I really do not care for the name Sonny at all! :/

dash is...um...something i'd expect to find in a cheesy sci-fi movie, and wouldn't be very impressed with in reality. maybe for a golden retreiver, but not a person. reminds me of running, or of seasonings. mrs. dash?

i agree it is better than sonny, but i don't think sonny is a bad name at all. i think it might grow on me after awhile.

I like Dash as a nickname for Dashiell, which I think is a great name. I went to preschool with a kid named that, who was called Dash. He was totally hyperactive, so it suited him.

I love Charlotte! Such a sweet, pretty name.

I think Dash seems too feminine for a boy but too masculine for a girl. If that makes any sense.

I agree about Dash being a nickname for Dashiell. I went to high school with a boy who spelled it Daschel or something like that. And I love the name Daschel.

Dash sounds to me like a hero in an action movie.

Dash? Nickname maybe (as said above for Dashiell, or maybe for a little runner), but as a formal name for a human boy? No.

Not crazy about Dash at all. Reminds of a dash of a spice in cooking. And I think there is a spice company named Mrs. Dash.

Charlotte is a very pretty name though
