what's the most ridiculous, guiltiest pleasure you can think of?
(but would NEVER name a kid it...or maybe you would...)
it could be the name of a character, a poem, a show, etc, or it could just be a word that you like.

mine:
sunflower sutra
gypsy rose
serendipity
tigerlily
ziggy
maui
utopia

I have to resist the urge to name my children after the team members of SG-1. :P

Or.. Trinium.

I know it's not a crazy crazy name, but it is a a musical nistrument, and since I play the violin there's a bit of rivalry between us and the Viola's at orchestra!

Sunshine is mine too. :)

Also, one of my guilty pleasures is off-limits due to extreme popularity and spelling abuse: Madison. :/

There are two "place" names that I love, even though I (probably) wouldn't use them: Kenya and India.

I also really like "Measure" for a girl's name.

When I used to chat in Yahoo chatrooms, I had the name Gypsy Angel. When I would get "yelled at", they would call me Gypsy Marie. So...while I love the name Gypsy....I would never, NEVER name any of my children that. (And besides, it's my kitty's name now)

Yes, Tigerlily was a character in Peter Pan. :)

Oh, all my poor children would be straight out of King Arthur's court...
Lancelot
Guinevere
Gawain
Gareth

I would never use those though. Actually, I would almost consider the three 'G' names up there, but definitely /not/ as a sib set.

The one thing that always irked me about Marigold's naming was that her father was Leander, and the family got all "OMG there's no feminine form."

... but Leandra is far less strange than SOME of the names they then discuss at the [hilarious] dinner scene.

What a great book.
