Hello all. I love baby names, and I spend alot of time just writing them down on scraps of paper.

for a girl I like:

Gemma Lee (a sort of homage to Jerry Lee Lewis)
Nathalie Eugenia
Sailor Michelle (i've gotten alot of crap for the name Sailor)
Amelie

Boys:

Claudio (I LOVE this one, my boyfriend insists I never name a child that)
Gabriel
Julius

Okay, so it is 4:45 in the morning for me and I haven't been to bed yet. But when I read Sailor Michelle- I thought it read Sailor Moon. I like Gemma Lee and Gabriel is one of my favorite boy names.

Eugenia sounds like a weak attempt at making a boy name sound feminine. Ditto for Claudio, except the other way around.

I've never seen someone with the name Nathalie spelled that way, and I hope I never have too.

Julius is a good middle name, especially if the first name is Orange.

i saw sailor and though sailor moon... i didn't even watch that show growing up! ;) it's actually a kinda cute/pretty name, but i've been poisoned by the media.

Gemma Lee is pretty, but if you say it fast it sounds like Jemily (which is weird)
I like the spelling of Nathalie much better than Natalie, but I don't like Eugenia.
Definitely not a fan of Sailor Michelle, but Amelie is cute

Claudio is pretty good but I prefer Julius and Gabriel is the best

I like the names Gemma, Nathalie, Michelle and Amelie.

I know you've already heard it before but I don't like the name Sailor. My main reason for this is that I just don't get occupation names. My logic is, she's NOT a sailor, she's a baby, so why call her that word?

(I feel this way much more about neutral sort of words like sailor than I do for words like Rose or Summer because at least those are very pretty nice things to be named after - names like Sailor, or Wednesday, aren't even anything. But worst is a name like Hunter because it's named after like murdering animals)

Gemma Lee - I love Gemma but not Lee. I hate that.
Nathalie Eugenia - I went to school in Eugene, so ew.
Sailor Michelle - *gives more crap*
Amelie - meh. Kind of trendy since the movie...but lovely

Claudio - sleazy sounding to me :/ I'm with your bf
Gabriel - LOVE this - my top 5 for boys
Julius - Meh. NMS, but not awful.
