Well i've decided on a first name for my baby boy, it's Gabriel. Now i'm having a lot of trouble coming up with a middle name for him. I just want something that sounds nice together, and only has one or two syllables, but so far I don't have anything! Any suggestions? I need help!!
By the way, I don't want his initials to spell out G.A.S. (lol) so i've ruled out any middle names starting with an A. =p

See what I mean?
I think you're on the right track with suggesting a short/simple name though, because that's what Gabriel needs to be paried with.

Date: 2005-07-30 10:39 pm (UTC)on that note, my neighbor before he passed away, his name was Daniel or Dan, and his initals spelt out DAN. freaky huh? Lee has become too common, it's a great alternative considering, but it's being used so much.
here are some possibilities. i'm not saying they are all great, but hell, they are suggestions:
Gabriel Michael = GMS
Gabriel Devin = GDS
Gabriel Scott = GSS
Gabriel Jeffrey = GSS
Gabriel Dallas = GDS
Gabriel Phillip = GPS
Gabriel Christopher = GCS
Gabriel Dylan = GCS
Gabriel Morgan = GMS
Gabriel Carter = GCS

Gabriel Jacob = GJS
Gabriel Michael = GMS
Gabriel Jorden = GJS
Gabriel Tanner = GTS
Gabriel Ryan = GRS
Gabriel Liam = GLS
Gabriel seems hard to find a middle name to go with.

Date: 2005-07-31 07:38 am (UTC)As I mentioned above, I would try to stay away from middle names that begin with L such as Lee, because they can be hard to distinguish when speaking the name.
I would also stay away from names that have a hard A sound, like Gabriel Chase, because two strong A sounds don't sound very well together.
Since Gabriel is a very strong name, and it has three syllables, I think that a simple one syllable name would be best to pair it with.
Here are some possible middles names that I have come up with:
Shawn or Sean
Seth
Cole
Mark
Paul
Chad
Clyde
Scott
Miles
Kyle
Todd
Troy
Ty
Joel
I hope this helped! :)

Gabriel Luke
I like those 3 best
Rather than me trying to guess the one name you'd like from the THOUSANDS out there...

Were there any other names you really liked that you couldn't use as a first name for whatever reason?
Gabriel is a nice choice. Now get creative. The mn is open to more possibilities than the first name. :)

are my favorite picks. I think a one syllable middle name definitely sounds best with Gabriel =)
