Jun. 6th, 2007 11:13 pmA new little one is coming to our family. My fiance's cousin's wife is having their second child. Unlike the first time around, I'm not dissapointed that they used one of my favorite names. They named their first daughter Eleanor Mai. Mai after my fiance's grandmother, May. I found it kinda funny since we like May too, but would spell it Mae. Anyway, we liked 'Eleanor', but weren't heartbroken, and such a sweet little girl! Their new little daughter will be Sylvia, which slthough pretty, is definitely nowhere in the vicinity of my list. My fiance got a ltitle.. I dunno weird, since I was saying I'm glad it's not a name I wanted thsi time (everyone is just having babies before us, lol!).. he asked what I ahd against Sylvia. nothing of course, just not my style. Does go well with Eleanor, though. I think our daughter's name would have fit in well with the group too, Brenna Rose. Anyway, WDYT of Sylvia, how about the sibset? :) The parents are Casey and Sabrina.
Luckily, my fiance's sister and I don't have overlapping tastes. I did mention here before that they wanted to use my fiance's name (he's a third, their fahter is termianlly ill, we're not sure we want to carry on the name), but other than that, their top name for a boy is Frank Roland (custom to name a son Frank and then a middle name thast starts with an R and call him by the middle name. Her fiance is Frank Reeve and his father is Frank Randall-- 'Randy'). also, interestingly, her fiance's mother is Pamela and her fiance's sister is name Paloma. I love the name Paloma, but that's a little odd/interesting. My fiance's sister's fiance's mother also says no kids until 2010 or she gets to name them. In front of the family my future-sister-in-law said that'd be fine, but said to us bride's ma;ds that it scares her given Reeve's and Paloma's names... lol. WDYT if their names? Paloma foes by 'Cassies' I prefer Paloma. Some girl's names she's mentioned are Rosalind, Lee, and Pastoria. They seriously pondered 'Pastoria Lee' until I said it out loud and laughed and they heard it sounded like 'Pastorialy'! Anyway, they like some intersting names, some are pretty.
The grandchildren should all have some comparably unusual names. My fiance is named Albert('Ted') and his sister is Amanda ('Mandy') and their parents are Susan ('Susie') and Albert('Al').
Anywho.. sorry.. going on.
