Date: 2007-06-07 01:10 am (UTC)Mara actually means bitter; I love it but it doesn't give me a happy feeling.
My impression of Lenora comes from a poem I read when I was very young. The girl in the poem was Lenore, I think? I tried googling it for you but couldn't find it. (It's not "The Raven" that I'm thinking of, but something a lot less famous.)
I like both names (Mara and Lenora) a lot. As well as many of the others on your lists.
