Yeah, that would be the only reason I would like it. It's not an awful spelling, and there are SO many Sarahs. It makes it seem more old-fashioned, too. Well, it is biblical, so I guess that's about as old-fashioned as you can get.
...Well, technically the bible was written after 500 B.C., so while Sarah is certainly an ancient name, there are older ones. For instance, names from Egypt. Then again, Sarah definitely deserves credit for being so popular over the centuries, since you don't really see many kids running around named Tutat-howeveryouspellit.
But yeah, Sarah is so popular that it's nice to see another spelling, although the kid is going to have to put up with constantly having her name misspelled...
I think it's so common that it'll just be obnoxious to re-spell it for everyone. I think the spelling looks fine, but I think it'll be more hassle than it's worth.
Personally no - i like Sarah though. And i wouldn't prounounce Serah as Sarah...i'd be leaning towrds prounouncing it Se-RAH rather than the SARE sound.
Unnecessary and a touch annoying to have to respell for people constantly, I'd think.
Regionally speaking, "Sarah" isn't always pronounced like "SERR-a" anyway. I certainly say the first A more like an actual A. Like how people in the northeast say "Kerry" differently from "Carrie", y'know?

*(as in the cooking technique)
I think it looks pretty, but with "Sarah"'s popularity you may as well prepare your kid for a lifetime of having their name misspelled.
