(no subject)

I was just wondering what people thought of the names:

Girl::
Cooper Delilah
Cooper Whittier

Boy::
John Rett
John Trace

The boy would be going by his middle name. In my fiance's family, it's tradition to name the first born son John.

Thanks,
Sam

I don't like the name Cooper at all for a girl, and I like John Trace better than John Rett, but i think both are nice

I agree. :)

Not Cooper for a girl, not at all, it kind of seems like a pet name to me. But I like Delilah, despite the awful woman in the Bible (and I am not at all religious).

I don't think Cooper makes a good girl's name. For a boy, I like John Trace.

Not Cooper for a girl. It's way too masculine for a girl. If you're set on using it, maybe use Delilah Cooper?

I like John Rhett better. If you're using the name that's in Gone With the Wind (not necessarily after that, but just that name in general), it's Rhett, not Rett.

Cooper is way too masculine for a girl. I do love Delilah, though. It's one of my top girl names.

I really like both R[h]ett and Trace. My friend had a baby in August and named him John Vincent and he also goes by his middle name.

Cooper's bad enough for a boy, but for a girl it's awful.

I'm really not picky about boys' names on girls, but Cooper?

I don't like Cooper but I think Whittier is bad, because it reminds me of the comparative form of 'witty'.

Among the boys' names, I prefer John Rett

John Rett... i prefer it spelled Rhett, but that's all just a matter of taste, since he's not going to be spelling his name all the time lol.

hmmm... Cooper. i met girls named Carson & Carston before & i like that a little... but i'm not sure about Cooper.

I can't at all understand the appeal of Cooper on a girl, sorry. John is nice. I think Rhett is a better spelling, Rett reminds me of Rett Syndrome.

I love the name Cooper but for a boy. I would never use it though because of teasing that would certainly follow: think Pooper Cooper, Coop Poop, chicken coop, well you get the idea.

I don't like any of them, sorry.

Rhett is tolerable for a boy, but otherwise, I have to agree. Cooper for a girl is yuck, as well as Trace.

Cooper is a boys name definitely to me.
I like Rhett thoough.
