There is a competition over here (Australia) that asks for your favourite ORIGIONAL baby names. I don't know many, so do any of you have some favourite origional baby names to give me some ideas? Maybe some with nice meanings?

Amaranth Dymphna. An amaranth is a mythical flower that's impossible to find because it grants the finder immortality. (There's a very long myth about it.) Dymphna is an Irish martyr and the patron saint of the mentally unstable.

Fortunately, I go by Amy now; though, one of my teachers used to call me Aimei. It's supposed to mean calm. *shrug* I've always liked the name Sozia. It's Hebrew meaning knowledge.

Hopefully, they're original enough.

My new favourite is Aaralyn. It means "song" or "with song" or something there abouts. A long time ago I made up Kothlyn and Kethanie, which I've always been rather fond of.
