Well... I was thinking about some uncommon names of people I've known during my highschool time and came up with these:
Girls
Darinka
Nuri (Nurcihan, actually, but everyone calls her Nuri)
Nele
Birthe
Marita
Mireilla
Denise
Yvonne
Meike
Violetta
Fée
Lena
Angoli
Irena
Franziska
Derya
Boys
Anas
Timo
Anno (my boyfriend)
Roman
Pascal
Tim
Jochen
Amin
Mirco
What do you think of them? Some of them might be common in other countries but aren't in Germany where I live. Some are common here but not elsewhere. So... opinions?
Personally I really like Darinka and Marita, and Derya isn't bad, either :>

Date: 2007-05-23 10:11 pm (UTC)Some of them are italian, some are international, some are even oriental-sounding etc.
Angoli and Anno are funny to me, because they mean "angles" and "year" in italian, literally :)

I like the rest of them.

& Lena is cute =)
